At Solace Junior, Chelsea works closely with children, their families, carers, schools, and other professionals to ensure your child receives the best quality care.

Chelsea’s approach is child-centred, play-based, and creative. Through play and art therapy, children can safely explore their world and express themselves. Depending on your child’s goals, Chelsea also integrates evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and adapted Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

Connection is at the heart of Chelsea’s work. She takes the time to truly understand your child and see them as a whole person. Chelsea believes that every child deserves to be valued as an active member of their community, and she focuses on recognising and building on their unique strengths.

Therapy often centres on helping children develop age-appropriate regulation, emotional literacy, and coping skills, while also supporting families to carry these strategies into everyday life at home.

In addition to working with children, families and young people in a private setting, Chelsea has worked in early childhood, primary and secondary education settings for over 6 years.
